- Tutorial-specific announcements and resources will be posted here
- If you were in my 4:00 - 4:30 PM or 4:30 - 5:00 PM tutorial today, there is a high chance that I will not be your tutor in future sections; sorry!
Thursday, September 10
- Submit Hog by today @ 11:59 PM PDT for an early submission bonus point
- Midterm 1 this upcoming Monday (9/14, 7:00 - 9:00 PM PDT)
- In 5 days (start studying now)!!!

- Sign up for CSM tutoring!
- Small-group tutoring similar to tutorials
- 1 hour long sections, once a week
- Can take for 1 unit
- Sign-ups open on Sunday (9/13, 6 PM PDT)
- NOT an official course resource. However, I still highly recommend it! I was a CSM student when I took 61A and liked it so much that I became a mentor :)

- HW 2 due tomorrow @ 11:59 PM
- Project 2, Cats has been released!
- Phase 1 due next Tuesday, 9/29
- Full project due following Friday, 10/2
- Submit a day early for a bonus point
- You can work with a partner for the entirety of the project
Wednesday, September 30
- Project 2, Cats, is due this Friday!
- Submit on Thursday for a bonus point
- Binary Numbers and Circuits are not in scope for assignments or exams
- Just focus on Cats and digesting Tree Recursion, Trees, and Lists
- I'll be uploading code files for future tutorials!
- If you prefer to work in a text editor, then be sure to download it from here prior to your tutorial time.
- Pros:
- Similar to other 61A assignments (HW, Lab, Projects, Exams)
- Can run doctests against your code
- More convenient
- Cons:
- Can't draw diagrams or sketch out ideas as easily
- I'll be using the worksheet during section
- You build more independence when writing out code on your own (i.e. no autocomplete)
